Finally, We're REALLY Getting It Together

 AHHHHHH!!!!
This deployment has been a bit rough for us! We have had to sacrifice so much and change our whole way of doing things to get our household back together. We do truely thank God for the trials that have came and made us stronger. Unlike the men in Mark 4:35-41 we have had faith and although there have been times where we were discouraged, our trust has remained in Christ Jesus who picked us up and got us back on our way.  ***Praise Break***

So much has bloomed with the spring flowers this year!

Bink, has developed a deeper love for God and her family! She has been on a quest to find out what God desires of her, working in His kingdom. She is unfolding into a mature young lady who really has a heart of service.

The fashionista, is still the Fashionista...LOL! She fills the house with so much laughter. She truely has the joy of the Lord! I will say that she has been showing so much compassion for people in need and praying her siblings through much change. She is quite the little baker too! We often loose her to good books but she always comes back and tells us the story :)

We call Grandma and Man Man "The twins". These two are always together! They cuddle and talk, bicker, then ask to sleep in each others rooms. They do everything together!

Grandma has become quite the Southern Bell, cooking and cleaning and motivating her siblings to move. We call her the church lady...LOL! She wants to take care of everyone all the time. Sometimes I feel a little out-done.

Man is growing up to be an awesome little man in Christ! This is a praying brother! He definitely feels the weight of being the man of the house while The Commander is away and is always praying that God betters him for the task. He loves to help out around the house which is a blessing to me and his older sisters. Man Man is still tall and skinny which really confuses me because he can put away some food!

La La is getting super tall! Her hair has grown out pretty thick and long, as you can see! She has discovered a love for drawing and that is what she spends most of her free time doing unless her dolls need her attention :). She can memorize and quote almost anything with very little effort and often convicts us with Gods word as a result. She loves babies and has to know what's going on at all times. She also loves to be read. Her bible has become her favorite book. She always finds the humor in every situation!

The King aka Thing 1,  is not an infant anymore! He has shot up and boy is he busy. He is such a loving little man though! He has recently been blowing us away with his prayers at meal time! I told the children we may need to open up a prayer line with the prayer warriors we have in this household...LOL!
Thing 1 has a strong, persistent personality. He is straight to  the point and has no time for the for anything else. He WORKETH patience in us :D

Boodah, aka Thing 2, has definitely came and claim his place in the family. As in most situations with the baby, he runs the house! He is really such a fun little guy though! He loves to dance, always has a smile for you, and is the huggingest baby I think I have had yet! He is super inquisitive and as the side kick of Thing 1, finds much to get into! He is growing extremely fast and moving around even faster. He likes to talk to dad on the computer and feels he has mastered typing IM's. (Hey Nandise, notice the Japanese ensemble?)

The children took part in a run recently in our homeschool PE class.

The older children ran 2 miles and the younger children ran 1 mile. I was so proud as every single one of them finished! The parent that works with the children in this course went out of her way to reward the children for their efforts which really touched my heart. She talked with the children prior to the run empasizing that the speed of the finish was not what was important, it is the endurance and the completion. I think we all were REALLY excited to see Sahdari cross the finish line! Yes, I cried :D.
Man Man came in second place for his age group!!!!!

Well, that is pretty much it for now. We are all getting back into our regular sleeping schedules and schooling routines. Anxiously waiting for daddy to come home! Stay tuned for more to come................
