We are settling in fairly well but news that the Commander is deploying within the month has gotten the family making another big transition so soon after this big overseas move. Life doesn't give us time for much breathing huh? In the meantime, we are busy with unpacking...ugh!, sports and homeschool group activities. Bink, Grandma, and La La are cheering, the Fashionista is playing soccer and Thing 1 is in gymnastics. Man Man is still sitting on a wait list for soccer but he has been so awesome in supporting everyone else!
Germany is so BEAUTIFUL! Definitely a different way of life though. We have not gotten to see too much yet but the places we have been so far have been breathtaking! We went to a wildlife preserve where the animals will come up to you and eat right out of your hands! We thought one of the goats was going to eat Thing 1's clothes right off of him. I turned my back for a second and next thing you know, I hear him screaming "Mommy, HEP Me!" I laughed so hard! He said "Mommy, that biddy goat try to eat me all up." Life with Thing 1, I tell ya!
We haven't found a church home that the whole family is happy with yet, but we are praying for God to lead us where we can be fed as well as of service. Pray with us! I know God has someplace special in mind.
The children have been taking part in AWANA at the chapel and are having a blasts! Who knew scripture memorization could be so fun! ....or is it the AWANA bucks that is motivating them....hmm?
